FAQs
1. What makes LawMatch different from other job boards?
We don’t like to brag, however—LawMatch has been in business for 20 years. We are proud of our dynamic experience in this specialized market.
LawMatch is a job board specifically designed for the needs of lawyers, law students, paralegals, other legal industry professionals. LawMatch gives legal employers a one-stop shop for getting those empty desks in your offices filled with your favorite lawyers. We understand the stress as your pile of papers, emails, and phone calls grows bigger and bigger when you are not fully staffed. Let LawMatch be your Human Resources Recruitment Assistant, as we know many legal employers don’t have the budget for an HR department. Let LawMatch make finding a job and filling a position much easier.
2. Why does LawMatch share their job posts with Law Schools?
LawMatch knows the importance of getting your job post seen by your “ideal applicants”. It’s not as simple as driving traffic to a website to increase job exposure. For a law firm in Wisconsin looking for an Associate Attorney, visitors on our website who are not looking for a job in Wisconsin, are not particularly helpful to this employer. LawMatch has found a way to increase job exposure for your opportunity exponentially. By sharing your job post with the Law Schools’ career centers that you choose, you have strategically generated expanded exposure for your position. That Associate Attorney job post is seen by law students and alumni of the 10 Law Schools geographically closest to Wisconsin. NOW, you have an extensive group of ideal candidates to interview and hire.
3. If I want to hire an experienced lawyer, won’t only Law School students or new graduates see my job post that you distribute to various law schools?
Definitely not. Most lawyers tend to be loyal alums to their respective Law Schools. When a lawyer with 12 years of experience is searching for a new job opportunity, we see them turn to their alumni job boards. This is how LawMatch can find job candidates with all types of experience. Law students, new grads, paralegals and experienced lawyers look at Law School job boards when they are searching for a job.
4. Why should I pay for a monthly package when I don’t know how many jobs posts I am going to need?
LawMatch wants to give as much exposure to your Job Post as humanly possible. With a starter or premium package, you can distribute your post to a long list of Law Schools. Your post can also appear in the featured section of our website, as well as in our newsletters sent to countless legal professionals. Also, you can renew your job post at no charge until the position fills. LawMatch wants to be there to help you with all your hiring needs. We can offer you job posts for a much more affordable price if you purchase more than one at a time. It’s kind of like the Costco concept for hiring. And let’s face it, in today’s fluid job market, there is a strong possibility you will need a group of job posts in a year’s time.
5. Can I cancel at anytime?
Of course. There are no contracts to sign with LawMatch. We do not require you to sign up for a designated amount of time. If you feel you do not need our services any longer, we would not want you to be paying for services you are not going to use.
6. Are LawMatch services a good fit for me right now?
